KYIV. His Beatitude Metropolitan Volodymyr Met with Chairman of the State Committee of Nationalities and Religions


On March 5, the Primate of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church at his residence at the Kyiv-Pechersk met with the chairman of the State Commission of Nationalities and Religions Yuriy Reshetnikov. During the meeting the issues of the state-church relations upon the present conjuncture were discussed. In acknowledgment of his work His Beatitude marked the cooperation of Yuriy Reshetnikov with the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, having conferred on him the order of the Holy Hierarch Dimitry, Metropolitan of Rostov.
