JERUSALEM-KYIV. Wonderworking Icon of the Mother of God of Bethlehem to Arrive to Kyiv
On March
11, the
member of the working group on organization of bringing to Ukraine of the Wonderworking Icon of the Mother
of God of Bethlehem hegumen Arkadiy Demchenko met in Jerusalem
with Patriarch Theophilus III of the Holy City of Jerusalem and Archbishop
Theophilus of Bethlehem.
In the course of meeting the parties agreed on bringing of this wonderworking image to Ukraine.
Thus, the shrine will be delivered to Kyiv on the
Great Saturday April
3 and that day it will stay at the Holy Dormition Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra, following
which from April 4 to 10 the icon will be
available at the Church
of All Saints (Zaliznychne shosse, 3).
