KYIV. UOC Primate Celebrated Divine Liturgy at St. Panteleimon Convent (Feofania)

On March 14, the fourth Sunday of the Great Lent, His Beatitude Metropolitan Volodymyr called to the St. Panteleimon Convent of Kyiv (Feofania), where he celebrated the Divine Liturgy of St. Basil the Great at the convent's cathedral.  
Concelebrating to His Beatitude were his vicar bishops: Archbishop Mykolai of Bilohorod and Archbishop Anthony of Boryspil, Bishop Seraphim of Yahotyn and Alexander of pereyasalv-Khmelnytskyy and the brethren clergy.  

Before the beginning of the service the Archpastor read the prayers for renewal of the church and sprinkled its walls. It was done due to the renovation works which had been held in the Convent of St. Panteleimon lately.   

Note that praying at the Divine Liturgy was chairman of the Supreme Council (Verkhovna Rada) of Ukraine Volodymyr Lytvyn.
