MOSCOW. Representatives of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church Participated in Working Session of Inter-Conciliar Presence Commission on Relations between Church, State and Society

On March 15 at the Church of Christ the Savior the first working session of the Inter-Conciliar Presence Commission on Relations between the Church, state and society was conducted, being chaired by Metropolitan Yuvenaly of Krutitsy and Kolomna.    

On the part of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church taking part in the session were deputy chair  of the Department for External Church Relations of the UOC bishop Alexander of Pereyaslav-Khmelnytskyy, chair of the Synodal Information Department of the UOC archpriest George Kovalenko and chair of the Synodal Department of the UOC "Mission Church and Culture" hegumeness Seraphima Shevchyk.
