KYIV. UOC Primate Conferred Church Awards on Belarus Exarchate Delegation
On March 18, the delegation of the Belarus Exarchate of the Russian Orthodox Church including Secretary of the Diocese of Misnk archpriest Nikolay Korzhych, archpriest Anatoliy Ivashchuk and Yakov Pesin visited the Holy Dormition Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra and venerated its shrines.
In the course of the visit
to the monastery the guests called to the Primate of the Ukrainian Orthodox
Church and reported him the greetings of Metropolitan Philaret of Minsk and
Slutsk, presenting him a painting.
In his turn the Archpastor conferred on the pilgrims
the orders of the Holy Hierarch Dimitry (Tuptalo), Metropolitan of Rostov.
Besides, the delegation members greeted Secretary of the Primate of the UOC
Bishop Alexander of Pereyaslav-Khmelnytskyy on his birthday and delivered him
the order of the Holy Hierarch Kirill of Turiv of the 2nd degree.
