KYIV. New Issue of “World of Orthodoxy” Program Aired


 

The program begins with the story of consecration of the church at the Institute of Crime Investigators' Training. Also the section "Orthodox Ukraine" tells about dedication day at the Church of the Holy Hierarch Luke, Archbishop of Crimea near the National O.O.Bohomolets Medical University, final Academic Council  at the Kyiv Theological Schools, meeting of the representatives of Christian Churches of Ukraine, the divers cleaning the Stugna River, the 1st All-Ukraine Festival of Religious Chant "Chimes of Volyn" in Lutsk,  Всеукраїнський фестиваль духовної пісні «Волинський благовіст» у Луцьку, center for rehabilitation of the drug addicted in Berdyansk, charitable action in oncology department in Donetsk and the concert dedicated to the 170th anniversary of Peter Tchaikovsky in Dnipropetrovsk.    

The section of international news tells the viewers about the main events of the church life of the last week abroad: soon 47 monuments of architecture will be passed to the Russian Orthodox Church (Russia), the most northern church will be soon erected on Dickson island, the Kara Sea, pannikhida service was performed on the birthday anniversary of Alexander Pushkin at his family estate (Russia).   

In the permanent section "Primate's Word" His Beatitude Metropolitan Volodymyr says sermon themed "the Virtue of Mercy": "the one fulfilling the commandment of Christ on love and mercy fulfills the entire Christian law..."
