KYIV. Kyiv Metropolis Vicar Bishop performed memorial litia for the deceased co-workers of the law enforcement agencies

On August 18 we commemorate in Ukraine the co-workers of the law enforcement agencies who died during liquidation of the accident at Chernobyl atomic power station.  

On that day at the blessing of the UOC Primate Vicar of the Kyiv Metropolis, His Grace Hilary, Bishop of Makariv celebrated memorial litia for the deceased co-workers of militia in the church of St George the Trophy-Bearer in Kyiv (prospect Mira 16).   

Attending the memorial arrangements were also heads of the Chief Department of the Ministry of Justice and the members of the families of the deceased co-workers.   

Upon completion of the Divine service His Grace Hilary addressed those present with a word of admonition.
