KYIV. Vicar of the Kyiv Metropolis participated in solemn assembly on the occasion of dedication of the first year students of the National Medical University named after A.Bohomolets

On August 27 at the National Palace of Arts "Ukraine" the solemn assembly was held on the occasion of the dedication of the first year students of 2010 of the National Medical University named after A.Bohomolets.

At the blessing of His Beatitude Metropolitan Volodymyr taking part in the arrangement was Vicar of the Kyiv Diocese Bishop Hilary of Makariv.

Speaking to the assembly, His Grace Hilary greeted the first year students and read out the greeting word of His Beatitude Metropolitan Volodymyr.

To the point. National medical University named after A Bohomolets is the main educational establisnment, specialized pedagogical methodical work in the system of the higher medical education in Ukraine. In 2011 the institute marks 170 year of its foundation. The Supervisory council of the NMU is headed by the Prime-Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov. Today the University comprises 12 faculties and 78 departments.
