KYIV. Working meeting on the issues of cooperation of the pilgrimage centers of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church and the Moscow Patriarchy


 

On August 27 at the residence of the Primate of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church the working session was held, dedicated to the issues of cooperation of the pilgrimage centers of the Moscow Patriarchy and the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, taking part in which also were Deputy Chairman of the Department for External Church Relations of the UOC Bishop Alexander of Pereyaslav-Khmelnytskyy, Director of the Pilgrimage center to the Department for External Church Relations of the UOC Volodymyr Telizhenko, acting director general of the Pilgrimage center of the Moscow Patriarchate hieromonk Nicodim Kolesnikov, and assistant to the chairman of the Economical financial department  of the Moscow Patriarche nun Sergia Klyueva. 

In the course of meeting the issues of the forms of cooperation of the pilgrimage centers of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church and the Moscow Patriarchy,  and the ways of performing the tasks of popularization of the pilgrimage to lesser-known shrines, churches and monasteries of Ukraine, and increasing attention to work with youth and development of the camp recreation for enriching the communication experience of the Russian and Ukrainian children.  Besides, the issues of organization of the international pilgrimage conference were raised, which will be held in Kyiv in October, this year.
