Archpastoral Visit of UOC Primate to Diocese of Konotop Began
On July 26 the three-day archpastoral visit of His Beatitude Metropolitan Volodymyr to the Diocese of Konotop began.
The
aim of the visit was taking part in the festivities dedicated to glorification
of the Holy Martyr Ioann of Putivl and of the four brethren of the
Sophrony-Molchensk Pechersk Monastery of the Nativity of the Most Holy
Theotokos: archimandtirt Theodosius (Maslov), hieromonk Serapion (Batovrin), and
novice Serhiy Tykhonov.
On that day the Archpastor visited the Stauropegial
Monastery of the Nativity of the Most Holy Theotokos, the Hermitage of Hlynka. Upon arrival His Beatitude blessed the brethren and the parishioners,
who had waited for their Primate.
