KYIV. Academic Council Session Held at Kyiv Theological Academy

On September 28 the session of the Academic Council of the Kyiv Theological Academy was held, presided over by Rector of the Kyiv Theological Academy and Seminary Archbishop Anthony of Boryspil, in the course of which the issues concerning preparation of the conference dedicated to the 190^th anniversary of re-organization of the Kyiv-Mohyla Academy into the Kyiv Theological Academy and 20 years of opening of the Seminary were discussed. 

By decision of the Academic Council the editorial group of the Kyiv Theological Academy was created, having on its board Prof. archimandrite Nestor Somenok, assistant professor archpriest V. Saveliev, assistant rector for academic research work V.V.Bureha, assistant professor of the Kyiv Theological Academy I.G. Bazarinskyi, archpriest O.Sknar, hieromonk Sylvester Stoichev, V.V.Vorona, I.V.Khronenko, T.A. Borozynets.   

An important decision of the Academic Council was consideration and approval of the "Methodical recommendations on holding approbation (preliminary defence) of a candidate's thesis at the Kyiv Theological Academy", presented by Assistant rector of the KTA for academic research work V.V. Burega.  
At the session the subjects of the candidate theses and diploma projects were also considered and approved.
